Refund & Cancellation Policy

Last updated: November 2, 2026

At QuranForKids we want every family to be fully satisfied with their classes. This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how cancellations, refunds, credits and payment disputes work. It applies to all payments made to QuranForKids, whichever payment method you use: PayFast, PayPal, Stripe, Whop, bank transfer or any other method we accept. It forms part of our Terms and Conditions.

1. Try before you pay

New students can take free trial classes (or a promotional free period, where offered) before paying anything. We encourage every family to use the trial to make sure the teacher, timing and course are right before buying a package. Since no payment is taken for the trial, no refund applies to it.

2. Cancelling your subscription

  • You can cancel at any time, for any reason, by:
    • emailing support@quranforkids.com;
    • calling or messaging us on +92 300 3661189; or
    • cancelling the subscription in your PayPal, Stripe or Whop account, if you subscribed through one of them (please also let us know so we can update your schedule).
  • We confirm and process cancellation requests within 1–2 business days.
  • To avoid being charged for the next billing period, please cancel at least 2 days before your renewal date.
  • After cancellation, no further charges are made. Classes already paid for continue until the end of the current billing period, unless you request a refund under section 3.
  • There is no cancellation fee and no minimum contract period.

3. When you are entitled to a refund

  • Full refund: if you request it within 7 days of a payment and no paid classes have been taken in that billing period.
  • Partial (pro-rata) refund: if you request it within 7 days of a payment after some classes have been taken, we refund the untaken classes in that billing period.
  • Accidental renewal: if a subscription renewed and you request a refund within 7 days without taking any classes in the new period, you receive a full refund for that renewal.
  • Classes missed by us: if a teacher misses a class and a make-up class cannot be arranged, that class is refunded or credited, as you prefer.
  • Service ended by us: if we stop teaching you for any reason not caused by you, all paid but untaken classes are refunded.
  • Duplicate or incorrect charges: duplicate payments, overcharges and amounts charged after a valid cancellation are refunded in full.

4. How a pro-rata refund is calculated

Refund = (package price ÷ number of classes in the package) × number of untaken classes.

Example: a package of 12 classes costs $45. The student has taken 4 classes and asks for a refund within 7 days of payment. Refund = ($45 ÷ 12) × 8 = $30.

Promotional discounts are applied proportionally, so the refund is based on the amount you actually paid.

5. When refunds are not available

  • Requests made more than 7 days after the payment date (cancellation still stops future renewals, and you can still pause classes; see section 6);
  • Classes already taken;
  • Classes missed by the student without 24 hours’ notice, or because of problems with the student’s own device or internet;
  • Unused make-up classes that have expired;
  • Free trial classes, free months, bonus classes or other promotional benefits;
  • Accounts suspended for serious breach of our Terms and Conditions.

6. Alternatives to a refund

If you are not happy, please tell us first. We can often fix the problem by:

  • changing the teacher (male or female, different style or level);
  • changing class days or times;
  • changing the course or class length;
  • pausing classes for up to 30 days per year (for travel, exams, illness or Ramadan) and keeping your time slot;
  • giving you credit for future classes, which never expires while you remain enrolled.

7. How to request a refund

Email support@quranforkids.com or message +92 300 3661189 with:

  • the student’s name and the payer’s name;
  • the payment date, amount and payment method (PayFast, PayPal, Stripe, Whop or bank transfer);
  • the transaction ID or receipt, if available;
  • the reason for your request.

We acknowledge every request within 1 business day and confirm whether it is approved within 3 business days.

8. How and when refunds are paid

Approved refunds are always made to the original payment method and in the original currency. We issue approved refunds within 7–10 business days. After that, the time for the money to reach you depends on your provider:

  • PayFast: refunded to the same card, bank account or mobile wallet. Banks usually show the credit within 7–14 business days.
  • PayPal: refunded to your PayPal account, usually within a few days. If you paid by card through PayPal, the credit returns to that card.
  • Stripe: refunded to the card you used. Card issuers usually show the credit within 5–10 business days.
  • Whop: refunded through Whop to the original payment method, according to Whop’s processing times.
  • Bank transfer: refunded by bank transfer to the account that made the payment. We may ask you to confirm the account details.

We are not responsible for exchange-rate differences or for fees charged by your bank, card issuer or payment provider. Processor fees that are not returned to us may be deducted only where the law allows and only if we have told you in advance.

9. Payment disputes and chargebacks

If you think you have been charged incorrectly, please contact us before opening a dispute with your bank, PayPal, Stripe, Whop or PayFast. We respond to billing complaints within 3–5 business days and will correct genuine errors quickly. If a dispute is opened, classes may be paused until it is resolved. Opening a dispute does not affect your rights under this policy.

10. Returns

We provide online teaching services only and do not sell physical products, so there is nothing to return or exchange.

11. Your statutory rights

This policy does not affect any rights you have under the consumer-protection laws of your country, including any right to cancel online service contracts.
